Scott Dann

IF I WERE YOU

Scott Dann

Australian country and cabaret entertainer Scott Dann brings his rich baritone voice to “If I Were You,” a song from the Elvis Presley catalogue, delivering a warm, traditional country interpretation that remains unmistakably his own.

Rather than imitate Presley, Scott approaches the song with honesty and restraint, allowing its story of loneliness, regret and lingering love to take centre stage. The recording highlights his natural vocal warmth and easy country delivery while giving the familiar song a fresh personal touch.

Growing up in Alice Springs, Scott began performing with a school band before building a career that has taken him to stages across Australia and overseas. His live show, Scott Dann Sings the Country Side of Elvis, celebrates the country side of Elvis Presley’s music alongside Scott’s own recordings and long-standing love of traditional country entertainment.

Scott’s recent single, “In My Arms Tonight,” reached number one on Oz Radio Gold’s Australian Traditional Country Chart, adding another milestone to his recording career.

With “If I Were You,” Scott continues to honour the music that has influenced him while singing it in the way that matters most to him: honestly, naturally and in his own voice for today’s traditional country radio audience.

"Thin Line"
Sally began her music career at a young age. After moving to New York City from a small town in Missouri at age 19, she performed in several Off-Broadway productions, sang jingles (including the original NBC Sports WNBA theme), worked on soap operas etc. before landing a record deal on Epic records as part of an all girl group called OSCAR. During that time, Sally sang backgrounds for many artists. Notably, Daryl Hall, Enya, Debbie Gibson, Kathy Sledge (Sister Sledge) and Tribe Called Quest. Songwriting became her passion and she quickly secured one of her songs, Some People, in the feature film "Let It Be Me". Soon after she was asked to perform the same song on a pilot for NBC director Rob Cohen (Fast and Furious). Sally went on to have several of her songs chart internationally. After raising 2 amazing girls and sadly losing her husband to Early Onset Alzheimer's/Pick's Disease at an early age, Sally is back writing, singing and co-producing her new material and having a blast. Today, Sally splits her time between NYC and Kansas City.
