Solo Noi

Solo Noi have great fun exploring the music scene in Brixton London in the 70s. A world of housing co ops and bohemian artists with the soundtrack of Bob Marley, Judas Priest and The Upsetters all ringing through the streets and in the clubs. They mix in the reggae style of French reggae star Yaniss Odua with relentless London energy of The Clash and the Lyrical twists of Ian Drury and the Blockheads.  Out comes a a unique take on pop reggae for the 2020s. It's magic and uplifting and will make you smile, however you think about contemporary life. The Au Contraire EP sparkles with ideas and hooks to keep listeners wishing for a better better life... and it won't be on Mars!

Solo Noi started in 2016 as a songwriting partnership aiming at the jazz/ blues soft rock arena. They are John Fitz (vocals bass and guitars), Robert S Smith (vocals and keyboards) Sten Stenapo (Drums) and Ollie Davies (Guitar).  John and Robert have been around the block a few times and have a vast experience from playing gigs in London's hot spots  (Ronnie Scotts/ Imperial college/ the Roundhouse etc) and recording at Maison Rouge and The Town House. Both achieve success with releases during the 80s and 90s.  They now draw on this world of expereince to create soft rock/ bluesy/ jazzy radio friendly songs.  Their release from 2024, Dreaming of America has climmed to over 300000 streams and each release now has a dedicated fan base wiating to here the next track from the eclectic Solo Noi.

They embark on a festivals Uk tour in 2026 which will certainly feature this new release.  Think Bob marley meets the Clash and you're getting near to the great sound they create from the traditional approach of vocal hamonies, soft accessible melodies, intelligent fun lyrics and a line up of guitar drums keyboards brass and guitar.
