UNMARKED GRAVE | Lorraine Stevenson | Lorraine Stevenson is a 76-year-old inspirational Christian artist based in Nashville. A six-time cancer survivor, she has turned profound personal trials into a powerful music ministry devoted to sharing hope, faith, and encouragement through song. | | Originally from Illinois, Lorraine moved to Nashville in 1979 to pursue her lifelong passion for music. In 1980, she was diagnosed three times with breast cancer and given no life expectancy. Cancer returned in 2000 in her left lung and again in 2005 with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and colon cancer. Despite these devastating diagnoses, her faith carried her through each battle, strengthening her resolve to inspire others. | | Lorraine performs twice weekly on In Your Corner with Kerry and Latrelle Pharr. Her song Unmarked Grave received Gold and Platinum recognition from Frans Meritz Airplay Express International. She has been nominated for honours including the Inspirational Film Awards, the Mississippi Music Foundation Song of the Year, and four nominations from the Music Star Awards. | | Recording with Grace Records Nashville LLC and affiliated with Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), Lorraine recently released That Is Why My Saviour Died, written during her first cancer battle. Her mission is simple: to put smiles on faces and instil hope where it is needed most. |
